Crane Technician

Crane technician required. Our client is a leading supplier of tower and self-erecting cranes in the United Kingdom and worldwide. They are looking for a candidate to service, repair and maintain their fleet of tower cranes mainly inside the M25 with the occasional need to travel nationwide. The ideal candidate will have to have past knowledge and qualifications in the tower crane industry. The reason for this vacancy is expansion in the company and looking for driven individuals to bolster their team.

Manual driving licence required for this role.

Crane Technician Position Overview

• Service, maintenance and repairs on the client's fleet of tower and self-erecting cranes
• Majority of the work is within the M25 but will occasionally be working away nationwide which is all expensed and will be paid extra for
• Keep service and maintenance records up to date
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• The client is looking for a self-driven, motivated individual who is looking to further their career and knowledge
• Interreacting with a management and clients on a daily basis

Crane Technician Position Requirements

• Experience and knowledge in a similar role are essential
• Relevant qualifications to the tower crane industry would be desirable
• Flexibility in working hours and willing to work the occasional Saturday which is paid at a generous rate
• Based within a commutable distance of London
• Strong electrical knowledge
• Manual driving licence essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Self-driven and motivated to further their career

Crane Technician Position Remuneration

• £20-£26 an hour D.O.E (Basic £52,000-£67,000 salary)
• 50 hour working week (8:00-18:00)
• Door to door pay
• Overtime paid at a generous rate
• 24 days holiday plus bank holiday
