The role will include working in accordance with Public Health’s overall objectives to develop coordinate and lead the children and young people within educational and community settings.

Hours: AD-HOC
PayRate: £11.98 - £12.59 per hour
Location: Wolverhampton
EssentialRequirements:
- Enhanced DBS (Children’s) - Update Service
- NVQ Level 2 in Early Years / Health and Social Care
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years / Health and Social Care
- Paediatric First Aid Qualification
- Experience working with children and families and running a Creche.
Main Responsibilities of a Creche Worker:
- Engage in briefing sessions before and after group.
- Engage in planning for each week based on children’s interest and next steps.
- Participate in meaningful projects and interventions.
- Invite parents and children in to a warm, welcoming environment.
- Provide excellent quality care whilst parents are in workshops.
- Meet each child’s needs using activities to support and encourage children’s resilience, emotional and social development through therapeutic type play.
- Complete paperwork and keep safe and confidential, this includes registers accident/incident forms, medication, daily logs of sleep/nappy change, feeds, the child’s day
- Follow all safety measures and familiarise yourself with all policies and procedures.
- Ensure information is kept up to date, i.e., dietary and medical requirements.
- Support parents when dropping off children, during lunch time family activity and when collecting at end of day.
- Build and maintain good relationships with parents as well as children and promote building strong & caring relationships with positive interaction.
- Provide ongoing advice for children’s needs.
- Work as part of a skilled team, offering support to each other and adding own strengths.
