Credit Controller

Location: Outskirts of Chester

Salary: £12-15 per hour

Hours: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week)

Reed have an excellent opportunity for a  part-time Credit Controller to join an award-winning company located on the outskirts of Chester

As a Credit Controller your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts owed to the company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial stability by managing credit accounts, assessing creditworthiness, and developing positive relationships with customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain credit control procedures to ensure timely payments from customers.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness.
  • Resolve customers queries and disputes related to invoices and payments.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding invoices through telephone, email, and letter communication.
  • Provide regular reports on credit status, outstanding debts, and collections activity to management.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
