A Credit Control role has become available within the Accounting & Finance department of a leading company in the FMCG industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who possess the skills and experience to manage debtor accounts, maximise cash collections and minimise aged debt.

Client Details

Our client is a large player in the FMCG industry in the UK, employing over 5,000 people across multiple locations. The company is renowned for its high-quality consumer goods and its commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Description

  • Manage debtor accounts and ensure timely debt payment
  • Maximise cash collections and minimise aged debt
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on collection activities and achievements
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, queries and disputes
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure credit issues are minimised
  • Comply with company and industry regulations

Profile

A successful Credit Control should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of debt collection regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
