The role: To manage the collection of rent, rates and utilities for a portfolio of tenants within a residential portfolio. The role will entail a high volume of calls to tenants and working closely with debt collection agents.

Duties:

• Handle the collection of Rent, Service Charge and Insurance and all other charges demanded on the clients system.

• Produce timely arrears reports.

• Monitor aged debt and ensure it is collected.

• Liaise with the Treasury team to check receipts are being posted to the correct account.

• Meet with the relevant Property Managers on a fortnightly basis and ensure arrears managed and escalate aged debt as needed.

• Facilitate charges that need to be amended or refunded.

• Handle tenant queries

• Follow the correct procedure for write offs

• Ensure that procedures are followed to minimise unallocated cash

• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• At least 1 years plus Residential Credit Control experience.
Have excellent organisation, time management and skills
Be an excellent communicator and be a strong team player.

• Previous Business Objects and a large asset management system experience
