Credit Controller

Taylor Whitmore is excited to be partnering with an expanding business based in Ipswich who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller on an interim basis to join their close-knit finance team.

Whilst you would join the business on an interim basis, there is a strong possibility the role will become a permanent contract if desired.

Roles/ Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting customers regarding overdue payments and negotiating payment plans
• Assessing credit applications and making recommendations on credit limits
• Monitoring customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses
• Generating reports on credit and collections performance for management review
• Continuously improving credit control processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness

Skills/ Experience

• At least 1 years Credit Control experience
• Strong Communication skills
• Excel skills- Vlookups and pivot tables would be preferable
