Description

  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
  • Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set credit limits
  • Implementing strategies to recover owed money
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong background in Accounting & Finance
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong skills in negotiation and communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
  • Understanding of data privacy standards and regulations
