Credit Controller

Position: Credit Control and Ledger Management Specialist

Location: Manchester

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Purpose: Join our team to provide top-notch credit control and ledger management services for our clients. You'll focus on risk management and uphold our core values: invest deeply, value differences, build trust, always do the right thing, have courage, and stay curious.

Responsibilities:

• Collect overdue payments through phone, email, and letter for our invoice finance clients.
• Manage legal processes, including issuing Letters before Action and preparing cases for judgment.
• Maintain contact with clients and debtors, update memo lines, and keep ledgers accurate and clean.
• Send monthly updates to clients with detailed dashboards.
• Dispute invoices and adjust funding limits to control bad debt risk and maximize security.
• Resolve disputes while balancing risk and excellent customer service.
• Assist with allocating received payments to maximize client fund availability.
• Complete invoice and balance verifications.
• Deliver high-level service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Adhere to service level agreements relevant to your role.
• Be a supportive team member and ensure departmental duties are covered.
• Communicate effectively with Operations team members to provide support and information.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Relationship Management, Risk, and Operations to ensure excellent client service and adherence to TCF principles.
