Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Morley area of Leeds as they look to recruit a Credit Controller into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Finance Department to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
  • Resolving Invoice and payment queries by phone and email
  • Processing customer special arrangements and amendments to invoices as required and ensure the relevant team members are informed of changes
  • Raising of sales invoices and credit notes
  • Allocation and posting of cash to ledgers daily
  • Issuing of monthly statements
  • Preparing and maintain large spreadsheets regarding debt control and updating in Sage
  • Building relationships with customers to improve number of debtors and days
  • Planning, organising and managing own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assisting the implementation of new policies and procedures, and documenting them
  • Assisting with annual external audi
  • Providing ad hoc support when required by the Financial Controller and Senior Management Team
