Credit Controller
SF are working with a leading company based in Tamworth, looking to expand their finance team with a skilled Credit Controller. This ongoing temporary role offers a competitive salary and a chance to join a dynamic team in a supportive environment.
You will be responsible for:
Monitor and manage debtor accounts
Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients
Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of credit control activities
Liaise with internal departments to resolve payment issues
Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and outstanding debts
Manage key accounts, ensuring tailored credit control strategies and strong relationships
You will bring:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and practices
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables preferred)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
