JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a large Bradford business, who are looking for a credit controller to join their team. Due to expansion and an internal promotion, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and respected business. Please note this is 100% office based.

Reporting to the credit team lead, you will be working in a small team environment overseeing your own ledger. You may be an experienced credit controller looking for your next exciting opportunity, alternatively you may be a candidate with some good customer service experience looking for a break into credit control. Candidates in either field will be considered for this role and are encouraged to apply. Full training will be given but you must have a strong willingness to learn and develop.

Duties include:

  • Chasing payments owed via telephone, email and letter
  • Placing accounts on stop
  • Setting limits and agreeing payment terms
  • Credit checking new customers
  • Producing statements
  • Allocate payments to accounts
  • Ensure payments are made in agreed time and ensure remittances are received
  • Raising queries
  • Liaising with legal team when required
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Analysis of accounts and reporting on Excel

Salary on offer is £25,000 + discretionary bonus, working, 37.5 days.
