Credit Controller
A growing and dynamic company is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Manchester office, focusing on managing overseas customers. About the Role
Title: Credit Controller (FT, Perm)
Location: Manchester (hybrid)
Salary: up to £26K per annum
Benefits: 24 days holiday plus BH, pension, life assurance plus many more!
Hours: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Manage the debt portfolio of clients of varying sizes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and interdepartmental teams.
- Assist in onboarding new clients with accurate data entry.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to manage risk.
- Achieve targeted month-on-month overdue debt levels.
- Prepare and present debt reports in weekly meetings with senior finance and operations managers, supported by the Senior Credit Controller.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Credit Control function.
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional manner and confidence to communicate with senior personnel.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to meet targeted month-end debt levels.
