Job Title: Credit Control Specialist (Swedish Speaking)

Job Description:
As a Credit Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and securing the company's revenue. You will be responsible for overseeing the credit control processes, ensuring timely payments from customers, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Your fluency in Swedish will be essential for managing accounts and communications with our Swedish-speaking customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the company's credit control procedures.
- Chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and letter.
- Communicate effectively with Swedish-speaking clients to resolve payment issues and queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Perform credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Assess and manage credit limits and terms.
- Prepare regular reports on debtors and credit control performance.
- Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Swedish and English is essential.
- Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult conversations with clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail industry.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Relevant accounting or finance qualifications.
