We are working with a wonderful family run business who are located in East Leeds and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a Temporary basis. As an experienced Credit Controller you will be joining a busy finance team, managing over 3000 accounts, ranging on scale in terms of business size. Managing the whole credit control function, you will be responsible for the collection of all outstanding debts whilst maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a fully office based role, working 8.30-5 Monday-Friday, an office move towards West Leeds will take place later in the year and therefore the successful candidate will be able to commute successfully. Key duties will include;

  • Managing the end-to-end credit control process, monitoring outstanding invoices, chasing payments, and ensuring queries are dealt with promptly.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing all queries
  • Implement effective debt collection strategies
  • Generate regular reports
  • Reconcile the company bank accounts
  • Support wider Finance activities

  • 2-5 years Credit control experience
  • Strong financial understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong MS Office packages
