What you will be doing...
You will maintain, develop and enhance an effective sales ledger function.  In addition, you will oversee the sales ledger and credit control of both student and commercial debtors whilst communicating with them to optimise collection in line with agreed terms. You will also investigate discrepancies and seek appropriate action to reduce the number and value of outstanding debtor accounts.

What you need to offer...….

As an essential you will need GCSE English & Maths and a desirable will be AAT qualification or working towards it.  
In terms of experience and knowledge, previous Credit Control experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel are essential. You will have excellent communication skills especially when handling difficult behaviour.  Accuracy and attention to detail when record keeping is also key.  The ability to manage your own workload and excellent interpersonal skills for working within the finance team.
