You will handle everything from raising sales invoices and issuing statements to allocating payments, reconciling client accounts, reporting on sales numbers, and attending the weekly Heads of Department meeting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prominent, well-established organisation during an exciting period of change, and become a linchpin within their recently restructured finance department.
What will the Credit Controller role involve?

  • All aspects of sales ledger and credit control – reviewing sales orders, issuing invoices and statements, resolving email/billing queries, posting and allocation of payments, running/updating debtors report, reconciling client accounts, chasing outstanding debt, escalation of bad debt to recovery agents.
  • Attend weekly call to report on sales numbers and weekly Heads of Department meeting.
  • Spearhead clean-up exercise for debtor’s ledger, including reviewing heavily aged debt and unallocated cash.

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:

  • Significant experience within end-to-end sales ledger and credit control.
  • Capable of high-volume invoice processing (several hundred per month).
  • Team player with a collaborative, ‘can do’ attitude, willingness to adapt and desire to learn new tasks.
  • First rate communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient and able to cope in a fast-paced, complex, constantly changing environment.

Additional benefits and information for the role of Credit Controller:

  • Hybrid model with 2 days working from home (after probation).
  • Healthcare & wellbeing package.
  • Critical illness cover & death in service.
