Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business looking for Credit Controller to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.
Client Details
Our client is a successful business that have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Eastleigh and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.
Description
As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Send monthly statement to all customers
- Responsible for maintaining proactive contact with customers by phone and email to obtain payment by the due date and in accordance with authorised payment terms and targets.
- Ensure credit limits are reviewed
- Ensuring that the accounts are kept fully up to date, reconciled where required and housekeeping performed on a regular basis.
- Processing and allocating cash received against customer accounts on Sage
- Process Credit notes when requested
- Setting up Customers and ensuring credit checks are completed through Creditsafe/Atradius portals
- Management of Atradius credit insurance portal, and insured credit limits
- Weekly/monthly reporting for management/directors
- Weekly update of cashflow forecast to reflect current invoicing
- Cash flow forecasting for payments received
- Other Adhoc tasks
Profile
To be successful for the Credit Controller position, you must:
- Experienced within Credit Control.
- Focused with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Logical and thorough approach to problem solving.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Sage Line 50 and Excel (Intermediate) experience preferred
- The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
- The ability to multitask in a busy accounting department
- The ability to work to deadlines
Job Offer
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
