Our client is currently seeking a talented Credit Controller to join their dynamic team on a permanent, part-time basis (4 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with numbers and enjoys playing a vital role in ensuring the financial health of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Manage the payment processing and reconciliation of customer accounts.
Produce accurate and timely reports on outstanding debts, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
Chase debtors and liaise with customers to resolve any payment queries or issues.
Assess creditworthiness of potential new customers and set appropriate credit limits.
Monitor and maintain customer credit files, ensuring all information is up to date.
Provide support to the finance team in resolving any credit control-related matters.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline credit control processes and improve efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a credit control role.
Strong knowledge of payment processing procedures and credit control best practises.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with customers and resolve payment issues.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
