A Credit Controller role has become available in the Accounting & Finance department of a leading company based in the heart of Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining clear and accurate financial records.

Description
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing customer accounts and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing monthly reports.
- Liaising with customers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Working closely with the finance team to manage credit control procedures.
- Implementing strategies to improve the collection process.
- Analysing customer creditworthiness and setting up credit limits.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Profile
The successful candidate requires:
- Excellent organisation skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
- A solid understanding of financial legislation.
- Strong attention to detail skills
