Credit Controller

Location: Dartford - Hybrid (1 day per week in the office after onboarding)
Salary: Up to £28,000 + Bonus (up to £400 per month)

Veracious Talent Partners are proud to be supporting a globally operating business with ambitious growth plans. As part of their dynamic Head Office finance team in Dartford, they are looking to appoint a tenacious and experienced Credit Controller in a challenging yet rewarding role.

This is credit control in its purest form - managing up to 950 live accounts, taking full ownership of customer relationships, reducing aged debt, and ensuring timely payments.

• Invoice & Query Management - Direct customers to the portal for invoices and provide copies via email in exceptional cases. Manage queries on price disputes, customs documentation, and missing goods, ensuring swift resolution.
• Debt Recovery & Legal Escalation - Proactively chase outstanding payments, escalating unresolved debts via the Credit Control Supervisor. Initiate legal proceedings where necessary, working with solicitors or collection agents.
• Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring positive interactions while securing timely payments.
• Process & Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, agreements, and queries, ensuring timely follow-ups.

We need an experienced B2B Credit Controller with a proven track record in fast-paced environments, managing 500+ live accounts. Strong relationship-building skills and a service-led approach to credit control are essential.

• Up to £28,000 base salary
