Credit Risk Specialist
Eton Clarke has been mandated by a leading international bank to source a highly skilled Credit Specialist for their Derivatives Risk Solutions Sales team in the UK. This pivotal role supports the launch of a new business line focused on Fund Level FX Hedging. The ideal candidate will possess strong credit expertise and be adept at navigating internal credit risk approval processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate and manage credit risk for Fund Level FX Hedging / Financial Sponsors transactions.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with internal credit risk stakeholders to secure necessary deal approvals.
- Underwriting: Underwrite debt and assess the creditworthiness of counterparties.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with the bank’s credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the FX Derivatives Sales team to structure and approve credit deals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit risk management or credit approval within a major financial institution.
- Strong understanding of underwriting debt and credit assessment processes.
- Experience covering deals focused on Financial Sponsors / Private Equity funds.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders across various departments.
