JOB TITLE: Criminal Solicitor 1-10PQE
Location: Bristol / Remote / Field Based
Hours: Full Time, Remote, Court Visits, and Police Station Visits

Salary: DOE PQE Competitive | NQ starting £42K+ | + 50% of police station fees,

Reputable, Established, Specialist High Street firm based in Bristol are looking for an Criminal Solicitor to join their busy Practice, covering Bristol and South west. The firm also get work in Wales and Birmingham but not as much. You have the option to work fully remote when you're not in Court or at Police Stations.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Duty-qualified Solicitor - not essential but beneficial / must be willing to work towards
* Experienced Crime solicitor minimum 1 PQE
* Experienced in both Legal Aid and Private Client Criminal law

DAY TO DAY
* Predominantly Legal Aid but also some Private Client Matters too
* Police Station visits
* Court Visits
* Prepare thoroughly for all hearings, pleas, or trials.
* To carry out advocacy in Magistrates Court and the Crown Court.
* Instruct Agent Solicitors and Counsel to attend the Magistrates Courts.
* When required, attend, and contribute to firm meetings.
* Provide advice and assistance at Police Stations, participating to the firm's out of hours rota
