We are looking to connect a recent criminology graduate with an opportunity within a Trauma/Mental Health school located in Swindon. The school have an available position for a recent criminology graduate to join their support staff in a SEN Classroom Support role. Working as SEN Classroom Support will be a highly rewarding opportunity for the candidate to gain experience working with vulnerable or marginalised children. The school provides education to children facing challenges regarding mental health, developmental trauma and behaviour disorders. As SEN Classroom Support, the criminology graduate will see how children from diverse backgrounds with previous adverse childhood experience can be more at risk of following a negative path within society.

Criminology graduates will witness how positive reinforcement and consistent encouragement and support can have a positive impact on children. As well as this, the successful candidate will experience what measures are put into place to help vulnerable children and students who have faced marginalisation or discrimination stay clear of the criminal justice system. This opportunity would be highly rewarding for any criminology graduate interested in following a career related to the criminal justice system or safeguarding of te younger generation.

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
