Are you passionate about improving services and creating positive cultural change? We are currently seeking a Culture and Insight Researcher to work with our client, Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service, and OPFCC. In this role, you will develop mechanisms to gather insights from the public and internal staff, enhance the quality of research, and contribute to organisational learning.

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO POLICE VETTING CRITERIA YOU MUST HAVE RESIDED WITHIN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION

Responsibilities:

Conduct high-quality research to inform decision making and improve service delivery and cultural activities
Gather qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external sources
Design and deliver innovative methods of engagement, including interviews, focus groups, and workshops
Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure insights inform organisational change
Collaborate with external partners and academic institutions to promote cultural change
Support and contribute to culture and insight projects
Maintain accuracy in report writing and presentations
Monitor and evaluate the impact of insights and culture work

Skills and Experience Required:

Degree level education or comparable experience in research methods
Knowledge of research methodology, design, and application
Strong analytical skills and experience in statistical analysis
Previous experience in consultation and engagement techniques
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of policing and fire issues
