Our Southwark Adult Learning Service is looking for passionate and dedicates Curriculum Team Leader – Vocational Courses to join our amazing team and help make a difference today!

About the Role:

As Curriculum Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across our vocational curriculum. You’ll work closely with managers to support the service’s strategic goals while ensuring the ongoing development of course content and delivery.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards in health and safety, as well as safeguarding staff and service users. The role also involves building strong relationships with residents, external partners, and Council teams, contributing to the continued growth and success of the Southwark Adult Learning Service.

About You:

We're looking for someone with a strong background in vocational education and a passion for leading inclusive, learner-centred provision.

You'll bring:

  • Experience of teaching vocational courses and leading curriculum design, across Childcare, Teaching Assistant and Health & Social Care
  • Proven ability to manage quality assurance and improve learner outcomes
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and adult learning values
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and health and safety standards

  • Based at the Thomas Calton Centre, with occasional travel to Tooley Street and off-site locations for meetings, training, and events.
