Custody Product Control - Liquidity & Deposits - Assistant Vice President
State Street's Global Product organisation is leading an exciting period of transformation for the business and is recruiting for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in the Custody - Product Control space to join the team and help take the business forward.

Function
The Custody Product organisation encompasses of roles covering Product Management, Product Development, Network Management, and Product Control. The Product Control function is responsible for the development of strategy assessments, lead the control agenda and framework, as well as develop the product platform and the function's analytics and reporting.

Role
The successful candidate will join the Custody Product Control team. The role will work across the Product team to understand MIS and reporting needs, and assist in the build out for data sourcing and analytics for Client Deposits and NII, as well move the function forward in terms of solutioning for Product P&Ls and Pricing. You will partner with Product Managers, Product Controllers, Treasury and Finance teams globally to address business questions derived from managing the P&L, profitability, and pricing.

Responsibilities
  • P&L and commercials analysis on both Deposits and NII
  • Data sourcing on various business metrics and financial reporting
  • Development of the Product Platform to build P&L tools covering NII analytics, Deposits trends / outlook, Risk sensitivity and predictive analytics.
  • Work across functions and finance teams to understand business impacts of deposit trends, Sales pipeline and targets, and interest rates.
  • Assist in the function's management responsibilities covering People initiatives, Strategy, and Management Reporting.

Skills
  • Finance or Product P&L management background
  • Good understanding of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products
  • Budget and finance skills
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, using MS Office suite.
  • Good stakeholder management skills with an ability to navigate organisation through the solution delivery cycle.
  • Track record of solving data integration challenges across complex and at scale data sets
  • Data management/ data visualisation techniques (Tableau, Alteryx, Python)

Experience
  • AVP with 5+ years' experience in Asset Servicing / Securities Services
  • Worked in Product organisations in prior roles.
  • Prior experience working in Product / Finance / Treasury / Controller.
  • Strong team player who can thrive in a large complex global organization.
