Customer Account Executive / Stock Controller

Location: Papworth Everard

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours a week

Salary: £28-£32k

Start Date: ASAP

We are acting on behalf of our client who isa dynamic and growing company and they are looking for a dedicated Customer Account Executive / Stock Controller to join their team. This role involves managing a portfolio of customers, supported by an experienced Account Manager . You will be the main point of contact for customers in your area, ensuring that their queries are resolved promptly and that relationships are developed and maintained with the occasional visit to meet with them face to face.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Commercial Director and Sales & Service Manager in achieving budgeted sales targets.
• Actively progress the contract renewal program, sharing successes with the commercial team and wider business.
• Organize, prepare, and deliver customer contract renewal meetings.
• Build strong customer relationships to ensure account retention and renewals.
• Prepare and communicate annual price increases.
• Improve linen utilization within customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Customer Services and Finance teams to ensure payment and debt control is maintained.
• Identify new prospects while visiting existing customers within the East Anglia region.
• Act on feedback from the driver debrief process.
• Perform full administration and housekeeping tasks on an inhouse system where required.

Requirements:

• Experience in account management and stock control management.
• Ability to work across a multi-site customer base in East Anglia.
• High standard of work with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan work to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in IT with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Full and clean driving license.
