This company was founded in 2010 to fulfil a need within the UK renewables trade. Since then, they have grown and in 2022 became part of the UK's leading distributor of fuels and lubricants, and they are doing extremely well as a company. The position available will be reporting to the Sales Manager and you will be part of a team of 3 Business Development Managers.
Your new role

  • Being at the forefront of sales with technical knowledge of heat pumps with sales expertise and driving revenue growth.
  • Attend pre-booked sales meeting and generate new and repeat business for the company.
  • Tailoring sales to customers' needs and offering customised solutions depending on their requirements.
  • Work towards, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Collate with technical team and manufacturers to ensure excellent product knowledge.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences and trade shows to network and achieve revenue.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within sales or as a Business Development Manager is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience in the HVAC, renewable energy, or related industry but this is not essential and full training is provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Full clean driving licence due to driving, and attending meetings. So a willingness to travel to meetings is essential.

What you'll get in return

  • Monday-Friday, 37.5 per hour, flexible working hours.
  • Basic salary £40,000 OTE £75,000-£80,000
  • Company car or a generous car allowance.
  • The ability to work flexibly around your schedule preferences and inline with the company.
  • The main base is Preston.
  • A generous company pension.
  • 33 days annual leave, plus the option to buy and sell holidays and carry 5 across.
