Customer Fulfilment Centre Advisor 

Salary - £13.47 to £16.26 per hour PAYE (Dependent on experience) 

Location - RG1 (Hybrid but in office when started until confident in role) 

Full time 

Start date - ASAP 

My Client, a local authority west of London, are seeking a Customer Fulfilment Centre Officer to join their team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, consistent services to residents, businesses, and partners. Your role will be at the font line of customer interaction, ensuring a comprehensive and customer-focused experience.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide excellent customer service by offering accurate and current advice.
  • Understand customer needs and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
  • Utilise various systems to input and retrieve information, ensuring all requests are logged accurately.
  • Engage with customers through multiple channels including face-to-face, telephone, email, and text messaging.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties to support both internal and external customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in Council Tax and Housing Benefits.
  • Proven background in a support or help desk function within a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a wide range of customer enquiries.
  • Proficiency in using various computer packages for data entry and information extraction.

This position is a temporary assignment originally estimated until end of August 2024
