Customer Service Administrator

Location: Carlisle

Job type: Full time fixed term contract (12-15 months)

Salary: £24,154.44

Key responsibilities

  • Processing of Customer Sales Orders and Returns onto the ERP system. Maintain system so that information is accurate
  • Provide assistance to customers where required in a professional and efficient manner via telephone, web and email enquiries
  • Allocate stock against sales orders in line with agreed delivery dates and stock availability reports
  • Maintain daily tracking sheets including (but not limited to) UK Embroidery, Returns, Courier
  • Actively maintain the ERP system (currently sage) to cleanse obsolete data and attend to any remaining queries
  • Internally approve new embroidery setups
  • Work with courier companies to ensure deliveries to customers are to schedule and intervene when any issues arise
  • Ensure customer is well informed throughout the journey with regards to order confirmations, delivery dates and stock availability. Provide excellent account management service
  • Send order confirmations to customer
  • Taking card payments on the virtual terminal
  • Assist Sales team with any information or reports
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal teams including Sales, Product/Technical, Finance and Warehouse.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities for both the Customer Service function and the wider business
  • To understand the company’s ESG commitments and be able to communicate these effectively to all stakeholders
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the business from time to time
