Customer Service Administrator

NG19, Mansfield

£25,000 per annum

Full Time, Permanent

As a key member of the Customer Service Team, the Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks to support both our client’s customers and sales team. This role involves managing customer enquiries, processing orders and maintaining accurate records, all while delivering exceptional service that reflects the Carlisle Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales orders via phone and email. Manage order receipt, perform credit checks, handle data entry, coordinate dispatch and ensure invoicing is accurate.
  • Generate invoices, quotes, credit notes and complaint forms. Update computer pricelists as needed.
  • Complete all month-end processes and requirements within established deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional interface with customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Organise bookings for customer training sessions at our Academy, including the administration of certificates and related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and data entry. Experience with SAP and/or CRM systems is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively with various departments.
  • A positive demeanour and professional attitude.
