Role Overview:

Join our client's collections team in a full-time, permanent position based in Walton-On-Thames, Surrey.

This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with repayments, negotiating payment arrangements, and completing basic affordability checks.

You'll also manage live chat interactions, update account statuses, and identify vulnerable customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make and receive calls to discuss repayment options.
  • Assist customers via live chat and handle queries or disputes.
  • Negotiate payment plans and conduct affordability checks.
  • Update account information and notes accurately.
  • Direct customers with financial difficulties to appropriate debt agencies.

About You:

  • Experience: 2 years in customer service or retail preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening.
  • Attitude: Friendly, empathetic, with a positive and reliable work ethic.
  • Education: GCSE or equivalent preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm
  • One Saturday per month: 9:00am - 1:00pm
