Customer Service Advisor

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our client's team as a Customer Service Advisor in their Kendal office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed with professionalism and empathy.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Answer and resolve customer queries, respond to phone calls and email requests while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Listen attentively to customers, directing them to the appropriate department or person to address their needs.
  • Accurately record and log interactions with customers, update account information, and create reports for management.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain best practices for efficient customer communication.
  • Stay informed on company policies to address issues such as returns, faulty merchandise, wrong or delayed deliveries.
  • Communicate with Management and the team to help improve the customer service culture, response time, and tools to enhance the experience for both customers and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with the industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
