Job Title: Customer Service Assistant (Mortgages)
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: 12h August
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Rotation Shifts of 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 9.30am-5.30pm and 10am-6pm
Pay Rate: £12.92 per hour
Office based 5 days per week
About the Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading brands in banking for a Customer Service role based in Edinburgh City Centre. You will be joining the bank's Homes and Mortgage team to support in delivering the highest level of services to new customers.
You will be the first point of contact for customers making new applications for mortgages by phone and e-mail. You will be supported by a full training programme when you join the organisation, so all we need from you is an ability to learn and a dedication to helping customers and delivering great service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advising customers on new mortgage applications from various brands and products
- Acting as the first point of contact for all calls regarding new applications
- Providing an excellent level of customer service over the phone and by e-mail
- Collecting all information regarding new applications to advise on affordability
- Ensuring all documentation is collected and updated on the system
- Logging and processing new cases within deadlines
Requirements:
- Able to adapt to new challenges
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work at pace and can successfully deliver against targets.
- Strong communication skills and able to build relationships with customers
- Able to juggle priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Good level of IT literacy
