Customer Service/Call Centre Specialist

Salary - £28,000 Plus Benefits

Location - Home Based

Tuesday - Saturday - normal business hours

My client is one of the UK’s fastest growing companies in their sector with 30 locations in the UK and a further number planned over the next 12 months. They have a vacancy in our virtual, home based call centre to start as soon as possible!

The starting salary is £28000 PA to be reviewed after 6 months including 28 days per year holiday including bank and public holidays but excluding days when the company is formally closed due to Christmas and New Year.

The role is full time, Tuesdays to Saturday inclusive.

Job Purpose Summary

To ensure that customers are able to book and reserve relevant services and enquire about the various options my client provides:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Answer a high volume of calls and emails and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed standards.
  • Log information on calls received, where required and maintain detailed and accurate records.
  • Advise customer on the best route for training and work with them to book suitable time slots for that training
  • Make calls to customer for the purpose of changing appointments and or collecting payment for training booked.
  • Maintain and update continuously, by local knowledge and by local means, a log of the availability of staff likely to receive inbound calls.
  • Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers/suppliers/visitors/enquirers and relevant staff and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.

Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures

Full systems training will be given as well as all the equipment needed.
