RSR Housing are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Birmingham for a Customer Service Officer.

The Customer Service Officer (CSO) role is a key role within the organisation, acting as the point of all front of house and inbound contact and communication with the organisation, including reception and visitor liaison. The purpose is to provide an effective and efficient service to ensure a professional and responsive service to our customers and visitors

The CSO will be able to provide guidance, advice and where necessary signpost and assist our customers to resolve any queries, report any information, receive feedback and to take any other action required to provide a professional service and excellent customer care

We welcome applications, on a TTP or permanent basis, offering a salary of £22,950.

Main Duties:

  • Previous experience of a customer facing role, delivering excellent customer service within a Housing Sector environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay calm in difficult situations and influence positive outcomes
  • Patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable
  • Good IT skills and experience of the Microsoft suite of products
  • Are solution focused
  • Be able to manage multiple cases and follow through to successful completion
  • Good level of general education. Minimum GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 in Customer Services
  • Confident working with people at all levels of the business
  • Be able to work as a team and on their own as required
  • Is able to identify ways to improve services for the benefit of our resident

Role is subject to DBS check at the relevant level.
