Customer Service Operator - £24,000 - Cheam - Office based

Friendly and established company on the outskirts of Sutton are looking for a lively Customer Service Operator, permanent £24k, immediate start, would suit someone sociable who enjoys being in the office full time.

Working in a team you will be responsible for delivering great customer experience through a variety of customer contact channels (phone, email, live chat etc). You will ensure the companies customers and engineers receive a friendly, professional and consistently high-quality service helping to resolve various queries.

Your duties will include:

  • Achieve exceptional standards of customer service with each point of contact.
  • Answer calls from customers, engineers and clients and facilitate appointments in line with contract conditions.
  • Liaise with engineers and coordinate diaries for them to efficiently complete work for customers.
  • Book service appointments
  • Approve engineer timesheets.
  • Monitor and action escalation reports.
  • Support different departments within the business with administration tasks.

Experience and skills:

  • Must be able to work in a busy and high-pressured environment.
  • Must be able to handle challenging calls and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and verbal)
  • Previous experience within a customer service/call centre environment.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and good work ethic.
  • Openness to learning.
