Exciting Opportunity - Call Centre Operator
Location - Wokingham – office based
Salary - £22-25,500
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
My client, based in Wokingham, is looking for a Call Centre Operator to join their busy team! You'll be the first point of contact for their customers and emergency response calls, playing a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the network.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and record calls, letter and emails from customers and other stakeholders onto the system
Making outbound calls to book work, updating people
Deal with email enquiries regarding works or issues with the network and appropriately supporting the supervisor in issuing a response team if needed to the location of the enquiry
Pass emergency calls and other works to Emergency Response Units via telephone
Run reports to assist in performance management queries and data collection
Provide reports to contract teams and senior management of emergency callouts, number of enquires, calls received etc.
Assist in various other ad hoc tasks that may have to be undertaken as and when required
Calling lone workers at regular intervals for safety checks

• Tech-Savvy: Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Calm Under Pressure: Ability to prioritise tasks and remain composed during busy periods.
• Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a 'can do' approach.
