Exciting Opportunity - Call Centre Operator

Location - Wokingham – office based

Salary - £22-25,500

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

My client, based in Wokingham, is looking for a Call Centre Operator to join their busy team! You'll be the first point of contact for their customers and emergency response calls, playing a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

    Receive and record calls, letter and emails from customers and other stakeholders onto the system

    Making outbound calls to book work, updating people

    Deal with email enquiries regarding works or issues with the network and appropriately supporting the supervisor in issuing a response team if needed to the location of the enquiry

    Pass emergency calls and other works to Emergency Response Units via telephone

    Run reports to assist in performance management queries and data collection

    Provide reports to contract teams and senior management of emergency callouts, number of enquires, calls received etc. 

    Assist in various other ad hoc tasks that may have to be undertaken as and when required

    Calling lone workers at regular intervals for safety checks

•    Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•    Tech-Savvy: Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.

•    Calm Under Pressure: Ability to prioritise tasks and remain composed during busy periods.

•    Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a 'can do' approach.
