Job Title: Customer Service & Order Processing Executive - Temp to Perm Location: Waltham Abbey, EN9 Working Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 8-5pm on Site ( 40 hours) Salary: £12.21 per hour or £25,396.80 per annum
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Order Processing Executive. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and customer queries are handled professionally. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Achieving 100% data accuracy when processing customer requests
Liaise with internal departments such as warehouse, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Provide updates to customers regarding order status, delivery times, and any delays
Handle complaints and returns in a professional and timely manner
Maintain customer records and ensure all information is up-to-date
Support the wider customer service team with administrative tasks as required
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or order processing role (ideally 1+ year)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Comfortable learning new systems and software
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
