Location: Chelmsford

Salary: depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm

Are you looking to join an exciting fast-growing company? Adecco Chelmsford are currently recruiting for our highly successful client, to Support and coordinate sales activities for products to specified accounts. Provide inside sales support to the Customer, Distribution, Representatives, Regional Managers and Strategic Account Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Report all out-of-line conditions affecting customer satisfaction
  • Provide customer information regarding status of purchase orders
  • Changes via schedules on existing orders as requested by customer
  • Inform customer immediately on any status change affecting delivery
  • Quote prices either from price lists or Product Manager to customers
  • Maintain customer order files
  • Interface with various internal departments
  • Maintain rapport with customers and sales offices
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and sales offices on all products either directly or with assistance from Engineering or Product Managers
  • Supply special reports or projects to customers when required or requested
  • Generate sample orders and negotiate lead time
  • Have overall responsibility for the customer services team in the absence of customer service manager.
  • Assume other projects and responsibilities from time to time as directed.

  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and to effectively administer numerous complicated employee programs.
  • Have the skills and the ability to organise, set priorities and meet deadlines, action/problem solving.
  • Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently. Must possess strong, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply job knowledge and skills to improve productivity, quality, and timeliness, and to solve problems, using good judgment.
  • Ability to implement new technologies or methods as needed.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office software within Windows environment to include Excel, Outlook and Word
