Customer Services Advisor
2 x Customer service advisors required to handle incoming calls in relation to Electoral Roll and the general election. Calls will be on how to register, postal votes, polling stations etc.
To provide professional and courteous customer service to LBH residents and partner organisations; actively supporting the Council’s aim to resolve customer queries accurately and efficiently at first point of contact.
- Act as first point of contact for incoming queries to the Council either in person at the reception desk, operating the switchboard.
Proving experience of working in a busy pressurised environment of a call or contact centre of at least a year.

4. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong navigation and keyboard skills. Knowledge of IT software and systems - including Word and Excel
Proven ability to communicate professionally and clearly by telephone. In a variety of circumstances and with a variety of customers. At all times maintaining control of the conversation and a calm demeanour,
Personal Specification Grade 6
A broad understanding of Council policies and procedures.
Proven ability to deal with complex enquiries/issues and more demanding customers.
