Our reputable client based in Ledbury are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join their team as a Trade Compliance Specialist. The company import and export all over the world so to be considered you must have an understanding of global supply chain practices, but they are open minded to skillsets and are keen to find their newest team member!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and laws within the UK and abroad.
  • Carry out extensive research to assist in new country supply chain and goods movements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate the complexities of global supply chain management.
  • Maintain knowledge of import/export documentation and procedures.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough research skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Transferrable Skills from Global Supply Chain:

  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics.
  • Experience working with customs and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to manage complex data and coordinate across teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
