Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and driven cyber-security professional to join an established IT team in a materials technology business.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor networks for security breaches
• Investigate, document, and report breaches
• Research IT security trends and technologies
• Assist users with security products and procedures
• Plan, design, and execute security training
• Suggest improvements for security weaknesses
• Regular security reporting to IT Manager
• Network protection using Cisco Meraki equipment
• Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Implement CIS Security Project controls

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Proficient with security tools, data analysis, high interest in cyber security
• Hons degree or higher in Computing/Cyber Security (2.1 or higher)
• Experience with Darktrace security tools
• Basic networking knowledge
• 1+ year experience in IT, networking, or security

Benefits:

• Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
