Adecco are working in partnership with Serco to recruit mobile operatives to work as an essential service worker, where you will be a vital member of the team and the operation.

    Our Client is dedicated to providing convenient and eco-friendly transportation solutions through the London Cycle Hire Scheme bike-sharing program. They are committed to enhancing urban mobility and improving the customer experience. We are currently seeking proactive and reliable Mobile Operatives to manage our bike docking stations and ensure smooth operations for our users.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the overflow of customers at docking stations, ensuring bikes are docked efficiently.
    • Stack docked bikes at designated spaces and secure them with locks.
    • Relocate bikes to neighbouring hubs or stations to maintain availability and balance.
    • In the evening, return stacked bikes to docking stations for customers to hire.
    • Provide high levels of customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from users.
    • Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and any issues encountered.
    • Communicate effectively with the team and report any maintenance needs or operational issues.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service is preferred.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the city/region.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
    • Physical fitness to handle and move bikes regularly.
