Daily Supply Teacher Roles - Secondary Schools in Northampton and Surrounding Areas

Tick Education, a trusted educational staffing agency, is urgently seeking Daily Supply Teachers, including Cover Supervisors, Instructors, and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs), to work in secondary schools in Northampton and surrounding areas. If you have availability from 1 to 5 days per week and want to continue teaching without the additional stress of planning and preparation, we would love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

- Step in as a Daily Supply Teacher to cover classes in the absence of regular teachers.

- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure a productive and engaging learning environment.

- Maintain discipline and classroom management to create a positive atmosphere for learning.

- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different subject areas and student levels.

- Foster student progress and academic growth through effective instruction and support.

Requirements:

- For Cover Supervisors experience is essential

- Instructors, a bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.

- Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) must possess a relevant bachelor's degree and a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).

- Prior experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and colleagues effectively.

- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and manage diverse student groups.

- Flexibility and availability to work 1 to 5 days per week, based on school demands.
