The Candidate

You will be an experienced Engineer with experience of working in a dairy or agricultural setting. You will have the following skills experiences and attributes…

· A strong working knowledge of dairy farm operations and associated equipment

· Experience or maintaining or servicing dairy farm equipment such as homogenisers, pasteurisers, bottle washers, fillers, cappers etc.

· Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems

· Must have a driving licence and be willing to travel across the Yorkshire region

· This is a customer facing role so you must have strong interpersonal skills

· Experience across other agricultural equipment will be considered as long as you can show an interest to develop skills with dairy equipment

Dairy Engineer

The Role

You will work as part of a team of Engineers repairing and servicing dairy equipment both on farms and in the workshop. Your key roles and responsibilities will include…

· Travel to farms across predominantly the Yorkshire region to carry our services of equipment, reactive maintenance and also installations.

· Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and repair of equipment on site

· Support farmer customers through informing of the technical benefits of the parlour and milking equipment packages

The role offers career progression and development with training across other farming equipment. Candidates with experience as an agricultural engineer will also be considered.
