Location: South Manchester (3 days in the office and 2 from home)

We are looking for a Data Administrator to join a growing energy/ carbon consultancy company. As the Data Administrator, you will carry out the day-to-day administration duties in support of their bill validation/ bureau team and general energy services. This comprises of utility data for electricity natural gas and water supplies. The administrative requirements are varied and will suit someone with an administration background - data entry and data administration ideally who have worked for within energy/ utilities company. Key responsibilities:

  • Set up clients within our systems and maintain supply and contract data
  • Collect energy usage data and perform invoice analysis for clients
  • Import and upload energy bills and consumption data
  • Negotiate refunds, credits, and re-bills with Utility Suppliers, when needed
  • Engage and liaise with utility suppliers to resolve any invoice and/or metering faults
  • Obtain non-utility data from clients and other third parties
  • Liaise with team members to ensure efficient and effective project delivery for clients
  • Upkeep of client records within all systems

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a similar Data administration role either with an energy supplier or broker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft package
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Teamworking skills
