Collett & Sons have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analysis Assistant to join the team.

Location: Halifax Depot (HX2 0DF), may be required to travel between other depots or clients to oversee some percentage of the task

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Anticipated hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Overtime and weekend working is required by the demands of the business

We specialise in serving the oil and gas, power generation, heavy engineering, renewables, and civil and infrastructure markets, transporting and moving difficult loads both in the UK and worldwide. Our operations are based at our 5-acre site in Halifax, 10-acre site in Goole, and 6-acre site in Grangemouth.

Data Analysis Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting to complete ‘Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety’ reviews and audits.

- Maintain administrative systems to enable the Compliance Team to stay abreast of planned and operational contracts

- Documenting Company lifting equipment in line with all PUWER and LOLER regulations

- Assisting the update of all Compliance and Training records

- Assisting the implementation of Compliance and training requirements

- Preparation of operational data such as telematics reports, tachograph uploads, fuel consumption etc.

- Data inputting / analysis to company requirements

- Updating and maintaining FORS and other compliance documents

- Checking of Tachograph downloads for compliance with regulations

- Assisting the company trainers in administrative duties, preparation of training programs

- All other reasonable requirements

Data Analysis Assistant – You:

This is a varied role where you will become part of the existing team and learn the maintenance of management systems and training requirements within a dynamic and fast-moving operation. The role involves a large amount of data input and analysis’, this would suit an individual looking to form a career in Health & Safety / Compliance in the transport sector.

Qualifications/Professional Requirement:

- Good understanding of MS Office, but particularly Excel spreadsheets / PowerPoint

- Interest in current developments in Health & Safety and Environmental legislation

- Demonstrates a high level of competence of documenting, recording and reporting

- Current Driving Licence would be advantageous but not essential

Personal Qualities:

- Flexible and willing to learn in order to develop in the role

- Energetic, enthusiastic and well organised

- Self-motivated and an effective team player

- Very strong oral and written communication skills particularly numerical skills.

- Effective communicator at all levels

- Reliable, trust worthy and have an eye for detail

Data Analysis Assistant– Benefits:
