Overview:
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Apprentice to join their team.
As a Level 4 apprentice Data Analyst at Vital Parts, you will be an integral part of their dynamic team, responsible for leveraging data to drive impactful decisions and strategies. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in data analytics and gain hands-on experience in a fast paced, collaborative environment. 

Salary: £14,000 - £15,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis using statistical techniques and tools under the guidance of senior management. This will include reviewing product pricing, competitor analysis, sales/purchase patterns data among other reports. 
  • Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering data from various sources, such as their internal CRM system, ensuring accuracy, and preparing it for analysis. 
  • Reporting: Help create and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize data and present findings as well as display company and department KPIs/metrics. 
  • Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams to support data needs for various projects and initiatives. 
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your data analysis skills and knowledge. 

What they are looking for:
Essential skills and qualities:  

  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or equivalent  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Analytical mindset and ability to derive insights from data 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team 
  • Demonstrated passion for data and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques 

Entry requirements:
Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
    Plus:
  • 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above 
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
