Data Analyst

Casanovas Recruitment are working with a national company at their Sudbury distribution site to recruit for an exciting new role as a Data Analyst. Due to development within the organisation there is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join the expanding team in this progressive role.

The role:

This is regarded as a pivotal role and will be working collaboratively between different departments such as IT, Finance and Sales to extract and prepare sales focused data. You should be able to create standard and complex reports and have an exceptional level of competency in trouble shooting and analytic. This role will suit someone looking for a challenge in a dynamic role where you to make a real difference to the company’s sales strategy.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Extract, analyse and share data
• Creating reports of varying complexity
• Working collaboratively across departments & Senior Leadership Team
• Completing adhoc and period auditing, refining processes and providing feedback
• Be innovative and dynamic with regards to businesses needs, present and future

Experience/Skills

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of ERP systems
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to present
• Advanced level of Excel
• Good understanding and previous experience of Crystal Reports and MS SQL
• Confidence with creating, manipulation reporting on complex data
• Good general IT support knowledge
